FOSTER CARE ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN

The billboards and posters shown were developed for Nova Scotia Community Services. The shoe ad was aimed at same-sex couples and placed in the Pride Week issue of The Coast. The bottom poster is written in Mi’kmaq. The headline “Msit No’kmaq” means ‘All my relations’. It is a common phrase which acknowledges our connection with all things around us. It also alludes to the Mi’kmaq strong sense of community and becoming a Foster Parent.
