108 Yoga Identity

108 Yoga is a yoga studio located in Halifax, Nova Scotia. 1 is said to represent enlightenment. O is said to symbolize wholeness. 8 is widely accepted to mean infinity. All of these qualities are benefits of practising yoga, therefore, it can be said that enlightenment, wholeness and infinity lie within the practise of yoga. When people view the wordmark, they generally see the word ‘yoga’ first. Then, in a moment of ‘enlightenment’ they recognize the numbers 108. The epiphany generates a sense of surprise and playfulness within the viewer, creating a strong connection between the audience and the identity.
