As I've said before one of my favourite things is designing furniture. This office was designed well in advance of its actual completion so small details had plenty of time to come to fruition. The entire reception area was designed to be the hub of the office and it works well in that capacity, the wall and floating desk were built by a local and fantastic cabinet maker. I wanted the entire area to be functional as well as a design element so some well placed storage and an asymmetrical back shelf looked after that. The offices were kept clean and minimal with an eye to the new building, the kitchen and employee area was built on top of the roof with an eye to the view and some outdoor space.
